Training Activities: Supporting the  training activities that organized by Turkish and American scientists is one of the main goals of the association.

Experience Exchange Programs Focused on Sharing Activities: It is aimed to establish exchange programs to improve the scientific activities of the Neuropsychiatry. The main purpose of this program is to allow the exchange of scientists between the two countries.

Scientific Meeting and Convention Activities: TANPA encourages to conferences and meetings which are organized by Turkish and American scientists’ and aim to increase information sharing and spreading.

Clinical practice development and establishing the standard activities: Depending on the recent developments, it is needed to specify the standards and writing guidebooks at the constantly changing and evolving areas such as Neuropsychiatry.One of the main goals of TANPA is to provide support to working towards the standardization targets.
